The story line gets lost in the authors depictions. The plot is not developed until near the end of the book! This book could have been a short story and eliminated half of the pages. Curwood again gave a very different lov e story, it took me all over the place trying to figure how the happy ending was to come about.

He's one of my favorite vintage writers.
Great G rated adventure story. Curwood does a great job bringing the Canadian wilderness to life.
As in all of Mr. Curwoods books. The story grabs you in the beginning and holds your interest to the end. I have now downloaded most of his books and read several.
I ran across a reference to this author in a Sigurd Olson book and so checked it out. I enjoyed my reading of it very much and plan on finding more of his work.
